FAQ
-
There are three main differences.
Granite is a natural stone, porous, and is usually darker in color. Granite needs to be resealed because the sealer will wear off over time. Depending on how one cares for it, factory sealer can last between 1 and 15 years.
Quartz is manmade, non-porous and is most popularly a shade of white with contrasting veins or designs. While quartz does not need to be resealed, it tends to be sensitive to heat. Avoid putting direct heat on quartz.

While marble is a beautiful stone and can really upgrade the look of your space, we do not recommend marble in high traffic areas.
Marble has a softer chemical makeup which makes it prone to cracking and chipping easier than other alternatives. It is also the most porous stone of the ones we have worked with. This means that no matter how many times it is sealed, liquids can still seep into the marble and can permanently stain it.

This is actually easier than many think.
Take a sheet of paper and draw a birds-eye view of the pieces you are measuring. When you have that sketch drawn out, measure the sides that are against the wall and label the lengths in inches. Next, measure and label the other sides. Now that you have all sides measured and labeled, you can take a photo of your sketch and send it to us.

Normally, we try to install a project about 5-7 business days after we laser template.
